• Insiders Guide to the Outer Banks This is the best and most comprhensive guide to the Outer Banks. It contains the text of a major printed quide. The reviews are fair and the information is as current as it gets on the Net. My only complaint is that the site is hard to navigate with its multilevel menus and maps. But persevere. It is worth the effort/
• Outer Banks Internet Iniative This is another great jumping off place. It contains a number of "cool" links to locally produced pages. It also is a good source for the latest information on evacuations and emergency situations on the Outer Banks. The site even hosts several mailing lists for general and specific topics about the Outer Banks.
  Outer Banks Perspective This is a very attractive site with links to some of the Outer Banks neatest shops and individuals. Great for ideas on shops to visit when you get here but short on content about the Outer Banks or tips on how to vaction.

  The NC Coast From Rough Guide. Short but informative.

  The Dorer's Nags Head Page This has developed from a family's project to spread infromation about a place they like to vacation into One of the best general Outer Banks sites. Excellent advice onwhat to do, how and where to do it from a family that has vacationed here for a long time. Worth the visit.

   Outer Banks Connection A nice set of very professional pages with good information.  Includes Atlantic Realty's site.  Well worth the vist.

  Dare County Tourist Bureau The official site of Dare County's trouisim promotion agency. A great place to ask for information, brochures and all the stuff needed to make vacation decisions

  Dare County Government official home page. Will have links to county GIS records for all property. Right now pretty dull unless you are a WWW junkie like me

  WYND and carolina 92 a local radio station with excellent current information including fishing reports

   The Outer Banks.COM this is a Excellent new local source.  It contains good Real Estate links both Rental and Sales.  Also it contains the  Outer Banks Beach Book  an excellent intrduction to the Outer Banks as well as the Outer Banks Magazine site

  Outer Banks Vacation Home Page built around Resort Realty pages. Good listing of events and good general info.

  Outer Banks A nice site. Some of the ifnormaion is sketchy and some looks very familiar. (see Insdiers Guide) But overall a good site.

  ICW-Net/ Blackbeard the Pirate/Our State magazine This site is growing the Black beard pages are great fun and very informative. The Reprints from Our State Magazine are also worth a cyber visit

  Talking Pages An interesting set of pages with good information.  Lots of one page commercial sites tied to this site.  Worth a visit. Especially if you want a taste of what some of the smaller shops have to offer.  Includes Fish Wrapper and Extreme Sports News sports sites Also the Outer Banks Wedding Planner is a must read for anyone thinking about a wedding on the coast

  Road Trip the East Coast from the folks at Moon Publishing a guide from coastal NJ. to Florida with a nice section on the Outer Banks and Coastal Carolina
